We'll be compiling our vocabulary list from SAT words you select from BrainyFlix.
- Do not select vocabulary words we've previously studied.
- With your partner, select one word from the Word List at BrainyFlix. Challenge yourself by selecting a word new to you!
- Add the word to table created on the Q3 Vocabulary Words page.
- You and your partner will create and submit a video to BrainyFlix. Remember, the video should teach the meaning of the word.
- Your video must be posted to our word list page at least one class period BEFORE the scheduled vocabulary quiz for the word.
- National English Honors Society at BHS will offer prizes to the top videos--in addition to the cash prizes offered by Brainy Flix!
For each word, create three (3) PowerPoint slides:
- Slide 1: Define the word, name the part of speech, and include a graphic to help illustrate the word's meaning.
- Slide 2: Write an original sentence using the word.
- Slide 3: Create a quiz question (multiple-choice, true-false statement) that APPLIES the word's meaning. Avoid merely asking the definition.
Go to your team's page below, and upload your slide to that page.
